The Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts presents “The Pajama Game”

The Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts presentsThe Pajama Gameat the at the Academy’s new outdoor venue: Theatre on the Green.

Conditions at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory are anything but peaceful, as sparks fly between new superintendent Sid Sorokin (Ethan Barmettler) and Babe Williams (Timaira Hayes), leader of the union grievance committee. Their stormy relationship comes to a head when the workers strike for a 7 1⁄2 cent pay increase, setting off not only a conflict between management and labor, but a battle of the sexes as well.

Directed by Wendie Marks with a live orchestra conducted by James Lohman, choreographed by Kendra Barrera, and costumes designed by Casey Brazil-Nine. Don’t miss out on an chance to experience musical theatre under the stars at 1917 B Street, Marysville, behind the Academy on May 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th at 7:30 PM.
