What if … staff writers for our newspaper actually checked their work and saw that on the front page Thursday, 10/28, they did NOT have a photo of a rice field, as specified?
What if … our school children were taught to “think” instead of “feel?”
What if … the majority of the homeless in Chico are actually a chosen culture?
What if … one who pitches a tent near a waterway realized that water levels change when it rains?
What if … the Chico High students chose to use the pedestrian crossing at the STOP light at Lincoln/Esplanade intersection instead of randomly stopping traffic at the Sacramento/Esplanade intersection?
What if … the TV news media had to go back to reporting facts instead of opinions?
What if … politicians took care of existing business instead of generating new causes? I want the potholes fixed.
What if … some of the “opinion writers” in their “Letters to the Editor” actually stopped throwing rocks and tried to be kinder and gentler?
When did “opinion” become “forcing your belief” on others, with malice?
What if … we went back to “for God and Country?”
I miss common sense.
